Purchase Al-Anon and Alateen Literature LocallyAl-Anon and Alateen Conference Approved Literature (CAL) includes daily readers, books and pamphlets that are published by Al-Anon World Services. CAL offers us comfort in knowing we are not alone and that our situation is not unique. There is a wealth of wisdom provided through stories that members tell by sharing their experience, strength and hope.
Conference Approval is the process for developing recovery literature that reflects the group conscience of the Al-Anon Family Groups through actions taken by the World Service Conference. With few exceptions, the actual writing is done by Al-Anon/Alateen members. Albuquerque Al-Anon Information Service maintains a complete stock of current Al-Anon and Alateen CAL. Orders placed at Albuquerque AIS/LDC are delivered far sooner than those coming from the WSO. Also, orders placed by Al-Anon groups at Albuquerque AIS can be shipped with payment due on delivery. How to Pay: If you visit our office, you can make purchases with cash, check or money order. If you order by mail, we accept checks and money orders. Please do not send cash in the mail.
